This painting spent a fair bit of time on the backburner but I always liked the colour palette and it was really fun painting the clouds gradually, layer by layer. This painting is loosely based on one of my very early drawings that was heavily inspired by Humbug by Arctic Monkeys so I kept that in the title even though the final piece has ended up some distance from its starting point.Ā
