This little abstract portrait started out as a little sketch while I was recovering from my recent foot surgery. I am often told that I seem to insert myself into my paintings which is probably true, although it is definitely subconsciously. Maybe this painting reflects my boredom and frustration at the time, maybe I just like painting facial features.Ā
